Generations in the Workplace - Managing Diversity Seminar (National Disability Employment Awareness Month Event)
Dr. Thom Flamboe will present a seminar on how employers can increase their workforce by being aware and working with various generations, particularly millennials. Dr. Flamboe has worked with children, parents, and families since 1970 in a variety of roles, and has received several awards. An appreciation award will also be presented to a local employer who has done an outstanding job employing and supporting individuals with disabilities. This seminar will be sponsored by the Board of Vocational Rehabilitation, Statewide Independent Living Council, and Board of Service to the Blind and Visually Impaired in conjunction with National Disability Employment Awareness Month. Business owners, managers, supervisors and HR personnel are encouraged to attend this free seminar.
