10 Things You Didn't Know About the Northern League

Aberdeen native Paul Gertsen will discuss the history of the Northern League. In March of 2014, Gertsen donated his entire collection of Northern League (1900-1971) baseball materials to the South Dakota State Historical Society. Several items from Gertsen's collection are now on display as part of the exhibit "Play Ball: The National Pastime in South Dakota." The exhibit, which opened in October of 2014, explores South Dakota?s rich baseball history.
