16th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade

The Pierre Jaycees will sponsor the 16th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 17th at 12:00 p.m. Line-up will begin at 11:00 a.m.

If you are interested in entering a float in the parade, please stop down to the chamber to pick one up, located at 800 W. Dakota Ave. Application deadline is Wednesday, March 14th. Please complete and return the form to Amanda Schmitgen by email: justbeaditjewelry@yahoo.com or mail: 128 Bulow Dr. Pierre, SD 57501.

Call Amanda at 605-280-9827 if you have questions. You will be notified of your place number in the parade on Friday, March 16th.

Parade Route: Line up will start at the east entrance of Griffin Park. We will head norht on S. Washington and then take a left on E. Dakota. The route will go west past the hospital and the park and then turn south on Crow St (the street located by the west entrance of Griffin Park). We will then proceed west on Missouri to Pierre Street and end at the American Legion Cabin.

Please note that areas of Missouri ave will be gravel. If you have walkers or horses, please plan accordingly.
