31st annual AAUW Used Book Sale

The American Association of University Women is seeking donations from the public of used books, CDs, and DVDs through April 10, 2019. These items can be dropped off at collection boxes located at Dakotamart in both Pierre and Ft. Pierre, the YMCA lobby, the lobby of the Discovery Center, and Northridge Plaza next to Hibbett Sports or the front entrance doors. Anyone who has a large number of books to donate may call 280-3289 or 413-8481 to arrange pick up. The 31st annual AAUW used book sale is adding two new features. An Early Bird Preview sale will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. A $5 entrance fee per person will entitle customers to shop the book sale early for 2 hours. Also, an antique political button auction will take place that evening. The regular book sale will continue from 10 am. to 6 pm. on Saturday, April 13, 2019, and from noon to 3 pm. Sunday, April 14, 2019, the popular bag sale will be held. This year's book sale will be held at the Northridge Plaza next to the Hibbett Sports location. Proceeds from this annual used book sale help fund local scholarships and community projects.
