6th Circuit Drug/DUI Court Graduation

The 6th Circuit Drug/DUI Court celebrates 9 years of success with a graduation ceremony on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at 10 am in the courtroom of the Stanley County Courthouse. Participants in a South Dakota Drug/DUI Court must complete extensive treatment services, maintain employment, and be productively engaged within their community. The Sixth Circuit Court accepts participants residing in Hughes and Stanley Counties who have been convicted of felony DUI and Drug offenses. The Sixth Circuit started out as a DUI Court, but in July of 2016, a Drug Court track was added to provide services to an increasing number of qualifying offenders convicted of felony-level drug crimes. The ceremony is open to the public. A reception will follow at the courthouse.
