Aging Gracefully Expo

SDSU Extension is collaborating with community partners to host the 2nd Annual Aging Gracefully Expo on September 23rd. The main event in Rapid City, SD and local events such as this one offer community members information, resources, educational ideas, enlightening discussions, and opportunities to age gracefully at home.

10:30 a.m. - Avera@Home: Managing at Home - Tips on Medical Equipment, Mobility Tips and Maximizing Independence
11:00 a.m. - Chair Yoga and Mindfulness - Learn how to utilize techniques to minimize stress and stiffness
11:30 a.m. - Free lunch provided by Edgewood Senior Living
12:00 p.m. - Fraud and Scams in South Dakota (Webcast from Rapid City) by Attorney General Marty Jackley
1:30 p.m. - Memory Loss, Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease (Webcast) by Kathi Herreid MS, CPG Alzheimer's Association State Program Director
