
Author Talk by Virginia Driving Hawk Sneve
"The Christmas Coat: Memories of My Sioux Childhood" is a story for children about generosity and selflessness. Author Virginia Driving Hawk Sneve will speak to the History and Heritage Book Club about this incident from her childhood, and share other childhood memories. Charlene Lund of Pierre will be present to tell about the Pierre/Fort Pierre coat drive. Those attending the free program are encouraged to bring gently used coats to donate to the coat drive.
