Becoming one with the Spirit of the Horse is not a horsemanship model, it's a way of life. The 3 day certificate is a unique experience that honors the spirit of the horse and their healing abilities. Together we will take a look at the four tages of life to better understand who we are Mentally, Emotionally, Physically and Spiritually to better understand those we serve.
Becoming one with the Spirit of the Horse helps to improve creativity. problem solving, communication and team work skills. The process builds upon strengths to improve self confidence, self esteem and self awareness.
Jon Eagle Jr is a nationally known consultant with twenty eight years of experience working with children, families and communities. He has nineteen years of experience consulting with federal, state and tribal agencies, and is considered an expert on Systems of Care, the Wraparound Process, Equine Assisted Wraparound, Cultural Competence and Leadership. Jon has done numberous workshops and training at tribal, state and national conferences across the US and Canada. He is currently the owner of Sung Nagi Kici Okiju: Becoming one with the Spirit of the Horse, LLC, and an independent contractor with Vroon VanDenBerg, LLP. He also serves as a grant reviewer for the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Washington, DC.
