Book Walk Hosted by First Lady Linda Daugaard

First Lady Linda Daugaard will hold a book walk for children in junior kindergarten through the second grade in the backyard of the Governor's Mansion on Monday, Sept. 25. The featured books will be "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus" by Mo Williams and "Silly Sally" by Audrey Wood.

Participants will walk around Capitol Lake and the inside driveway of the Governor's Mansion and stop at stations along the way to read portions of the two books. After children arrive at the last station and finish the book, light refreshments will be provided.
