Bras for a Cause on Display
19 bras are in downtown Pierre and are currently on display in the front window of BPro. The bras hae been decorated by local artists and donated to the American Cancer Society in support of breast cancer awareness and research programs. They will be sold to the highest bidder on October 28th during the Bras for a Cause Halloween Bash being held at the AmericInn in Fort Pierre.
The public is encouraged to get out and vote for their favorite bra. The voting ballet box is located at BPro from October 3rd to 14th. On October 14th the bras and ballot box will travel to the Pierre Mall where they will stay until noon on October 28th when they go to the AmericInn for the silent auction and Halloween Bash.
