Burgers & Brew Cruise
An evening of entertainment on the river will take place on Friday, July 14.
The three-hour cruise on Pierre’s new paddleboat, the Sunset, will feature music, a Chautauqua-style portrayal of famed riverboat pilot Grant Marsh and a dinner buffet with a choice of burgers, pulled pork or chicken sandwiches. There will be a cash bar. Plus, the cruise offers ample opportunity to relax and enjoy viewing Pierre and Fort Pierre from the Missouri River.
The Burgers and Brew Cruise is sponsored by the South Dakota Historical Society Foundation and the Encounters on the Prairie, South Dakota Chapter of the Lewis & Clark Trail Heritage Foundation.
The tentative time to start boarding is 5:30 p.m., with a 6 p.m. launch.
