Capital City Children's Chorus Goes to Ireland

The Capital City Children's Chorus will depart of March 11th for a weeklong performance tour of Ireland organized by Gateway Music Festivals & Tours. Performance highlights include a joint concert with a local choir at the Cork School of Music and a school exchange concert at Rathdown School, located south of Dublin. The choir will also perform at St. Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin. On their last day in Ireland they will see the world-famous Dublin St. Patrick's Day Parade. The choir, under the direction of Barb Newman, is thrilled to represent the state of South Dakota as they share their music overseas and experience the culture of Ireland.
