Compassionate Friends Candle Lighting Service

This annual event sponsored by Compassionate Friends, honors the memory of children of any age, who have died. In each time zone candles are lit at 7 pm -  the result is a continuous light of remembrance circling the globe for 24 hours. Countryside will provide a time of music, reflection and refreshments from 6:45-8:00 p.m. Please feel free to bring a photo of your child, a special candle, poem or other reading to share. We will provide candles and a special memory table. Volunteers will ensure that the candles remain lit until 8 pm if you are unable to stay. If you are unable to attend, you may call the office at 945-0827 with the name of your child and a candle will be lit for you.

In the event of band weather, or if you are unable to join us, please light a candle in your home for this your...remember everyone is someone's child...forever.
