The SD Discovery Center is excited to announce that the Creative Animal Tiny House Tour will stop in Pierre as part of its 50-city national tour. Pierre native and wildlife expert, Stephanie Arne and wildlife artist, Tim Davison, and their Tiny House (features on the DIY Network and HGTV) will be at the SD Discovery Center from 10am to 4pm and at Red Rossa from 5:30 - 8pm on July 18.
Local events will include a 10am Coffee Talk with Steph & Tim on the front lawn of the SD Discovery Center. The public is invited to come talk with Steph and Tim about their commitment to sustainability, tiny houses and their work with animals fit together. Sunshine Coffee will be on-site.
From 11am to 4pm kids from the Stanley County GOLD program, Oahe YMCA and the Pierre Boys & Girls Club will be participating in programs and tours. The public is welcome to visit throughout the day as space allows.
The tiny house will move to the Red Rossa parking lot by 5:30pm for an open house. Steph & Tim will have brief presentations at 6pm and 7:30pm. The they will be available for conversation and tiny house tours throughout the evening. Red Rossa is providing incentives, free drinks, appetizers or even a free meal, to those who donate to the Creative Animal Foundation during the event.
