Free Pro Se Clinics

The SD Supreme Court and SD State Bar have teamed up to give presentations at 20 courthouses across the state, including Hughes County, on the use of Supreme Court approved pro se forms.  These forms are available for purchase at any county clerk of courts' office or for free download from www.sdjudicial.com.  The presentation will concentrate on what is involved in representing oneself in court, including substantive and procedural law issues.  Specific questions on filling out the forms will also be addressed as time permits.  However, no legal advice will be given.   The presentation will be cancelled if required by bad weather or by other unforeseen event.  So, please call the courthouse before coming.
