Get Growing! Tree Planting 101
Dr. John Ball, SDSU Extension Forestry Sepcialist, will use the Arboretum as an outdoor classroom. After his presentaion on planting techniques, attendees will have the opportunity to put their new knowledge to work by planting trees and shrubs in the Arboretum. Event sponsored by: City of Pierre Arbor Board, Prairie Potter Master Gardeners and the Izaak Walton League. Special thanks to Modern Woodmen of America for purchaseing the trees and shrubs for the workshop.
