Groundbreaking Ceremony - Edgewood Senior Living Community

Please join us for a Groundbreaking Ceremony on Wednesday, October 2nd for Edgewood Senior Living Community at 11:00 A.M. From Noon - 1:30 P.M. a "Meet & Greet" will take place at the Pierre Area Senior Citizens Center and is open to the public. Food and refreshments will be served.

Edgewood Group LLC and ICON, both Grand Forks, ND, are set to start building Edgewood Senior Living in Pierre, SD. When completed, the community will include 48 assisted living apartments and 20 memory care apartments.
The public is invited to Edgewood Senior Living's Groundbreaking Ceremony at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 2 at the 2000 block of Fourth Street. The event will also include a Meet & Greet with Edgewood and ICON leaders, hors d'oeuvres and refreshments at Pierre Area Senior Center, 401 W. Pleasant Drive in Pierre.
This new $8.4 million construction project is expected to open in fall 2014. Amenities will include a movie theater, chapel, salon, media center, fitness center, therapy room, Skype lounge, spa room and a secured courtyard with walking pathways. Three dining rooms will provide all-day dining for residents. The new community also plans to hire and employ at least 30 local residents.
