History and Heritage Book Club

Bill Markley's journal of his trip by public bus from Pierre to Virginia in the wake of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks forms the basis for his book "American Pilgrim." Markley, a Pierre resident, will lead the discussion of "American Pilgrim" at the Feb. 7 meeting of the History and Heritage Book Club. The book is available at the Heritage Stores at the Cultural Heritage Center and the Capitol. Everyone is welcome to attend the free meeting.
