History and Heritage Book Club

The 75th anniversary of the completion of Mount Rushmore National memorial and the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service will be commemorated when author Jean L.S. Patrick shares from her book "Mount Rushmore Memories." The book features historic photographs and more than 100 memories about Mount Rushmore. People are welcome to share their own memories of Mount Rushmore. The book is available at the Heritage Store at the Cultural Heritage Center. Everyone is welcome to attend the free program, made possible by a grant from the South Dakota Humanities Council, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
