History and Heritage Book Club

South Dakota historian James McLaird of Mitchell will discuss the new biography he wrote about Hugh Glass, titled "Hugh Glass: Grizzly Survivor." Glass was a mountain man who was attacked by a grizzly bear in 1823 near present-day Lemmon and crawled his way back to civilization. The book is available at the Heritage Stores at the Cultural Heritage Center and the Capitol. Everyone is welcome to attend the free program.
