History and Heritage Book Club

John McDermott will discuss his book "Red Cloud: Oglala Legend." Red Cloud was one of the most important people in the history of the West, fighting the encroachment of the white man onto lands guaranteed the American Indians through treaties. McDermott lives in Rapid City and will be speaking from Rapid City to those at the Cultural Heritage Center via the Digital Dakota Network. People at the CHC will be able to hear, see and talk to McDermott. The book is available at the Heritage Stores at the Cultural Heritage Center and the Capitol. Everyone is welcome at the free event.
