Horse Races
The Verendrye Benevolent Association will again sponsor the 70th Annual Fort Pierre Horse Races. Plan on attending both weekends with competing horses from not only South Dakota but from around the region. Whether you enjoy Pari-Mutuel Wagering on your favorite horse & jockey or just like to watch the track activity, you won’t want to miss this annual event that got its’ start in 1948!
