LaFramboise Island Mountain Bike Race
This is a fast, essentially flat terrain course that is not especially tough or difficult, but does have some tight technical turns, sweet stretches, and fun challenging spots. This will be a lap race. One lap = approx. 5.76 miles. The course is a combination of tree-lined, narrow and twisting single-track, and open, wider double-track trail. The course is located on LaFramboise Island Nature Area, at the end of a causeway separating the island from the City of Pierre.The island and its course are open year-round and require no park entrance license.

Expert Men & Women: 23 Miles/4 laps
Advanced Men & Women: 17.25 mi/3 laps
Recreation/Sport Men & Women: 11.5 mi/2 laps
Beginner Men & Women: 5.75 mi/1 lap
Youngster Categories: 12 & under + 13-17. 1 lap.
HELMETS ARE MANDATORY!
WATCH THE WEATHER - in case of heavy rain the race will be cancelled.
