Let's Talk About Sports & Recreation

The Sports and Recreation Committee of the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a “Let’s Talk About Sports & Recreation” meeting on April 21, 2016, 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce. Wayne Carney, Executive Director of the SDHSAA; Brian Moser, TF Riggs Athletic Director; Dr. Kelly Glodt, Superintendent of Pierre School District; Tom Farnsworth, City of Pierre Parks Director and Jeanne Goodman, Parks & Recreation Commissioner for the City of Pierre will be on hand for a lively discussion about sports in the Pierre School District and in the City of Pierre and surrounding area. The meeting will begin with an introduction and brief statement from each panelist on their role of influence in Pierre Area Sports and Recreation. A question and answer session will follow. The public is invited to attend.
