Mental Health First Aid Training
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training equips individuals with the skills and knowledge to recognize signs of mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and crisis like suicidal thoughts or panic attacks. Just as CPR helps those with physical health emergencies, MHFA provides essential tools to offer initial support to someone experiencing a mental health issue.
By attending, you'll learn how to listen nonjudgmentally, offer reassurance, and guide someone to appropriate professional help. Whether you're a friend, family member, colleague, or community member, this training empowers you to be a vital part of someone's support network, potentially saving lives and reducing stigma.
