Mountain Dulcimer

Even if you've never seen a mountain dulcimer before, you can easily learn to play some tunes or chord backup that sounds pretty good. This class will teach you some dulcimer basics like how to tune the dulcimer, how to play a melody, and how to make some easy chords, with both noter and chord melody techniques. At the end of each class, we'll break into parts and jam a little on some traditional songs. Enrollment is limited to 6 people using CUC dulcimers, 8 people total. There is a $50 refundable deposit required for use of the CUC dulcimers, or they can be purchased outright for $50. (Student's dulcimers must be tunable to DAD.)
