Nick Bourk Benefit

A benefit for Nick Bourk of Blunt will be held at the Community Youth Involved Center in Ft. Pierre. Nick was diagnosed with kidney cancer last June, and underwent surgery to have his left kidney removed. In December, he learned that the cancer had metastasized to his liver, and he has started chemo treatments. Nick will not be returning to work, so money raised will be used to assist with medical and living expenses.

Supplemental funds for the benefit will be provided by the Hughes County Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. An account has also been set up at Dakota Plains Federal Credit Union, PO Box 7145, Pierre SD 57501 for donations. Checks may be made payable to the Nick Bourk Benefit Fund.
