
"One World, Infinite Voices
The University of South Dakota Chamber Singers is taking their nationally recognized music across South Dakota in March on their annual spring tour, and will make a stop in Pierre.
This year's program, "One World, Infinite Voices," includes contemporary musical selections spanning a variety of languages and cultures. The choir will sing in 10 languages and present music from a wide variety of cultures, including Native American, Venezuelan, African and Indian as well as traditional European and American folksongs and spirituals.
Chamber Singers is the premiere vocal ensemble at the University of South Dakota. It is comprised of graduate and undergraduate students selected through audition from the entire university student body.
