Open Auditons for "Lone Star Love Potion"

Pierre Players will hold open auditions for the comedy "The Lone Star Love Potion" by Michael Parker on Monday, Aug. 29, 7 p.m. at the Grand Opera House. There are parts for 3 males and 4 females on stage and many roles available behind the scenes. Mr. Stancliffe, the owner of a vast fortune and a 200,000-acre Texas ranch, has died. His long-time butler, Jarvis, and the maid, Melody, along with Mr. Stancliffe’s niece and only living relative, Patrice, are there for the reading of the will by the family lawyer, Mr. Oakfield. “Gales of laughter approached hurricane force.
