Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Walk

A walk to bring awareness and comfort to parents, family and friends grieving the loss of a child will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2019, in Pierre, South Dakota. The community is invited to join the walk. The route begins at Avera St. Mary's Hospital, 801 E. Sioux Ave., at 2:00 pm, and will end at Faith Lutheran Church, 714 N. Grand. Snacks and water will be provided and a short prayer service will be held at the church. The event will conclude at 3:30 and rides will be provided from the church back to the hospital.

The walk is sponsored by the Life Team at Faith Lutheran Church.

Participants are asked to please park on Washington Ave. on the east side of the Hospital or in the lot on Dakota Ave. to allow adequate parking for patients and their guests in the hospital lot.
