SD 5K for Healthy Kidneys
This is a family friendly run/walk being organized by the Rancour family of Pierre to increase awareness of Alport Syndrome and other chronic kidney disease, to promote life saving organ donation, and to raise financial support for the Alport Syndrome Foundation. Two of the Rancour boys are afflicted with Alport Syndrome, a very rare genetic disease which causes progressive kidney failure and hearing loss.
