Short Grass Arts Council Student Art Showcase Opening Reception

The public is invited to the Opening Reception for the Short Grass Arts Council's Student Art Showcase featuring the "Unsung Heroes" exhibit by T.F Riggs 2nd Semester Intro to art class who have created works of art celebrating “Unsung Heroes” as part of the LMC ARTEFFECT Unsung Heroes Art Competition under the guidance of art teacher Jill Kokesh who is an ARTEFFECT Ambassador. Additional artwork from: Pierre Indian Learning Center art students under the guidance of Brittany Paxton, a collaborative art piece created by students of the Agar-Blunt-Onida School district under art instructor Sole Tassler, display of abstract artwork and painted gourds created by former High School principal LeRoy "Mike" Fugitt and other guest artists. Exhibit will run from May 2 through May 11th (Mother's Day) with gallery hours: Wednesdays 11am to 4pm, Sat & Sun 11am to 1pm.
