The public is invited to attend the South Dakota General Aviation Rally scheduled for Wednesday, August 31st starting at 10:30 a.m.
The new Mustang Aviation (formally Capital City Air) in Pierre, South Dakota will host this forum which will bring South Dakota's political leaders together with general aviation users and enthusiasts.
Senator John Thune and Governor Dennis Daugaard will headline the rally. Other speakers include:
Pete Bunce - General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA)
Craig Fuller - Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA)
Rod Hightower - Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA)
Jim Coyne - National Air Transporation Association (NATA)
Dick Doubrava - National Business Aviation Associaion (NBAA)
John Cudahy - International Council of Airshows (ICAS)
The rally will provide a unique opportunity to bring together elected officials and the entire general aviation community to underscore the impact the industry has on South Dakota - from those directly employed by a general aviation business, to those needing access to specialized medical care, to hunting enthusiasts and the tourism industry.
