The Short Grass Arts Council and an evening with Dakota Jazz Collective
To add to the fun of the evening, we'll be getting some support from a grant from the Sioux Falls Jazz and Blues Society and that grant includes an educational component. Jeremy Hegg of DJC will be giving an informational talk on the history of jazz and may even share some insight into improvisational techniques. Afterward, DJC will play dance music until 10:00 p.m. It's going to be a really fun evening. Make plans now to be there.
