Thuringer Salonquintett -- Pierre Concert Series
The Thüringer Salonquintett, the fourth performance of the 2012-2013 Pierre Concert Series schedule, is a chamber music ensemble, including first and second violins, cello, bass and piano, that is committed to the wonderful central European tradition of light and entertaining music. Their program transcends the notions of "classical" and "popular" music and combines their impeccable, spontaneous musicality with fun and innovative programming.
