Four American Indian traditional artists will demonstrate their work on Saturday, Sept. 23 at the Cultural Heritage Center in Pierre. The free event runs from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Mike Marshall will show traditional Lakota toys and games and visitors can make their own game pieces with supplies provided. Jennifer Carter and Denise Lightningfire will demonstrate star quilting and Alana Traversie will do beadworking. Refreshments will be served and museum gallery admission is free.
