Willson & McKee -- Pierre Concert Series

What happens to traditional music when it settles comfortably in the west? Mingling enthusiasm for the traditions of their ancestors with an airy approach to modern life in the west, there is never a dull moment in a Willson & McKee performance. Their hybrid of Celtic and contemporary acoustic music is full of grace and style, reflecting the moods of their life in the Rocky Mountains.... Entwined as only veteran performers can do, traditional songs are re-worked to a contemporary shine and a drop of the ancient is added to the originals. This is the fifth performance of the 2012-2013 Pierre Concert Series season.
