Walleye Fish Fry Fundraisers Izaak Walton League-Sunshine Chapter Meal includes: fried fish & all the fixings, meal prepared & served by volunteers. Dine In 5 PM - 7 PM. Suggested donation: $15 per dinner ($8 for age 8 and under). Proceeds from this fundraiser will support Sunshine Chapter Projects.
South Dakota ProStart Invitational
Twelve high schools from across South Dakota will compete in the South Dakota ProStart® Invitational, a statewide competition focused on culinary arts and restaurant management, administered by the South Dakota Retailers Association. The competition kicks off Monday, March 9th, at the Ramkota Hotel and Convention Center in Pierre, with the cake decorating competition beginning at 2:00pm. Cake decorating, restaurant management and culinary competitions will continue at 8:45am Tuesday, March 10th. Teams awarded top honors at the state competition will receive scholarships and advance to the National ProStart® Invitational in Baltimore, MD. This event Is open to the public.
