2024 Coyote Cup - Tiger's Tap
The 2024 COYOTE CUP calling contest will be held February 10, 2024. With the rules meeting the night before on February 9, 2024 at 7 p.m. CT. ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY WILL OPEN JANUARY 1, 2024. Limiting it to 40 teams this year with 80% payback. A few things to note on the contest include the following: ☑️Decoy dogs (or any other live decoy) are NOT ALLOWED. ☑️This is not a contest where trapping or snaring animals is permissible. This is not a video contest. ☑️Team members MUST hunt together. ☑️3-MAN teams, but 2-MAN teams are allowed. ☑️No snowmobiles. You can only use one ATV or UTV per team to transport to and from call sets. No shooting from the vehicle. ☑️Weigh in time is 8 p.m. CT. Yee-Haw!!! We're going Western for our 2024 Polar Plunge season and want you to join us in Pierre on Friday, February 23rd at the American Legion! The Polar Plunge is back in Pierre! In 2023, 40 plungers raised $14,000!

2024 SDFA Convention
Join us for three days of fun, flowers and friends ? all in a 1950s throwback! There will be many educational opportunities with this year's convention, including hands on and design shows with Gerard Toh AIFD CFD CCF�and Lynne Tischler EMC AIFD PFCI AAF, in addition to networking and round table idea sharing. (And of course, our annual meeting and dinner, followed by a live DJ and dance! '50s theme - complete with a contest competition!
3rd Friday Funnies
Get ready for the laughter at the Speakeasy this winter as we bring you comedians from all over the region for 3rd Friday Funnies. Free shows, 21+, grab a bucket of beers at the bar! SPEAKEASY HOUSE RULES: Put your cell phones on SILENCE! Live in the moment. Be respectful to the comedians and people who came to hear them through. If you want to visit aloud, please go back down to the Social Club. Heckling the comedians will probably get you embarrassed, and escalating will get you invited to leave. There is no cover charge, and the bar is located in the Social Club, we promote grabbing a bucket of beers on your way up to the Speakeasy. Seating is first come, please don't push a bunch of the tables together unless your group is all there ready to sit down. If there are empty chairs at your table or in the room, please help people find a seat. Lastly enjoy the evening! Laughing is good for you!!
4th Annual SD 4-H Capitol Day
The State 4-H Office is excited to be hosting our 4th annual South Dakota 4-H Capitol Day on January 17th, 2024, at the South Dakota Capitol Building! This event is in collaboration with the SDSU and Brookings day at the Capitol. We encourage all 4-H supporters to attend this FREE event to learn about our state legislative process, while getting to network with you elected officials.
