10th Annual Fall Festival East Pierre Landscape & Garden Center
A variety of local vendors from 11-5 PM; kids games, pumpkin painting, hay bale maze from 11-2. Just a reminder, kids activities require tickets which are sold during the 11-2 PM timeframe. Wild Sides food truck is available for your lunch purchase. From 3-5 pm there will be music and beer and wine tasting!

2025 - 2026 Leadership Pierre Non-Profit & Community Services Session
Leadership Pierre Students will be attending the educational portion of the class, this months topic is ''Unifying Your Culture'' led by Eric Therwanger. They will then attending session trips and/or panels focusing on ''Community Services.'' Classroom Only Students will be attending the education portion of the class, this months topic is ''Unifying Your Culture'' led by Eric Therwanger. Vision Statement: Leadership Pierre is a comprehensive program for current and emerging leaders to analyze characteristics associated with leadership, develop individual skills, and gather an awareness of trends, challenges and issues that face Hughes and Stanley County. Leadership Pierre seeks a diverse group of participants of varying interest and styles across a broad spectrum of achievement from the area. Program: Leadership Pierre is an educational program intended for Pierre area citizens who have an interest in their communities, their leaders and institutions, and/or specific leadership opportunities. During the nine-month program, participants will hear from area experts, tour places which make our community unique, participate in thought-provoking discussion and learn how and why decisions are made...all with the goal of shaping tomorrow's leaders. Up to 15 area people who live or work in Hughes or Stanley County will be selected. Individuals not selected will be added to the wait list. To receive a certificate of completion from Leadership Pierre, participants are expected to attend all sessions in their entirety, kick-off, graduation and at least one community involvement opportunity during the program.

Join us for our Chamber Spooktacular from 3-5 PM on October 30th! Stop in for treats, games, photo backdrops, and coloring pages! We can't wait to see your fang-tastic costumes! Afterwards, make your way to the Trick or Treat on Main Street event just a few blocks away!
2025 Childbirth Class
A 1-session in person class offered by Growing Up Together and Avera OB Staff. Classes will be held on the Avera St. Mary's Hospital Campus. Pre-registration is required. Topics Covered: Pregnancy Stages and Progression of Labor Birth Stories Comfort and Pain Management Medical Procedures Cesareans Newborn and Postpartum Care Practices of Avera St. Mary's Women's Center Questions and Answers with OB Staff Support persons are encouraged to attend!
3rd Annual Boutique Crawl 2025
Join us for the Ultimate shopping experience! The holidays are right around the corner, and this would be a great opportunity to get an awesome head start on shopping for the holiday season. So how does it work? When you start you will be given a punch card and you will get stamps at each location with a purchase. At your last stop, you will turn in your punch card at checkout. Each boutique will have their own specials, and other fun things going on at their store for the day!
